This article is a complete reference for general contractors and developers who are evaluating Innergy Interiors as an interior finishes subcontractor, who are preparing to work with us on a project, or who want to understand what our process looks like from first contact through project close-out. It synthesizes the process information from across our article library into a single reference document.

Who we work with

Innergy works exclusively with general contractors managing commercial and multifamily construction projects and with developers who are procuring finishes subcontractors directly. We do not work on consumer residential projects, single-family owner-occupied construction, or small residential remodels. Every process we run is built around the procurement expectations and production schedules of construction professionals managing projects in the millions of dollars.

What we cover

Seven divisions under one subcontract: Division 6 finish carpentry and cabinets, Division 8 shower doors and mirrors, Division 9 flooring including LVP, tile, carpet, and sheet vinyl, Division 10 specialties including toilet accessories, mailboxes, signage, fire extinguisher cabinets, Knox boxes, and wire shelving, Division 11 window treatments including horizontal blinds and motorized roller shades, Division 12 countertops and solid surface, and Division 22 plumbing specialties.

We can bid all seven divisions as a consolidated package or any subset of divisions as standalone scope. Single-division bids are welcome. The consolidated seven-division package produces the coordination efficiency benefits described in the capabilities article, but we do not require the full package to work with a GC.

Where ## How to request a bid

Send your project drawings, the unit type matrix, the project schedule, and the project address to info@innergyinteriors.com. We review the scope, confirm our licensing in the applicable state, and respond within two business days with a complete bid or with clarifying questions that allow us to complete the bid.

For early-stage projects where drawings are not yet complete, send a project description including unit count, unit type breakdown by bedroom count, finish grade target, and location. We provide budget pricing organized by division within two business days.

For projects where a specific division or subset of divisions is needed rather than the full package, identify the scope in the bid request and we will organize the bid accordingly.

What happens after we are awarded

Within ten days of subcontract execution, we schedule the pre-construction meeting. At the meeting we confirm the unit type matrix, confirm the product specification for each division, establish the pre-construction deliverable schedule, and initiate the USPS mailbox approval process and Knox box fire authority coordination.

Within three weeks of the pre-construction meeting, we deliver product submittals for LVP and countertops. Within four weeks, we deliver cabinet submittals. We provide the Division 10 blocking specification before framing advances on accessible unit bathroom walls.

Our quality standards

We conduct a pre-walk unit inspection on every floor before the GC superintendent’s first walk. We do not mobilize for any scope without GC confirmation that the predecessor conditions for that scope are complete. We document substrate conditions before flooring installation. We notify the countertop sub the day cabinet installation is complete on each floor.

First-walk punch item targets: three to five items per unit on floors where our pre-walk inspection identified no significant issues. Items above this target on a specific floor trigger a review of that floor’s pre-walk inspection process before the next floor’s walk.

How we close out

We deliver the complete close-out documentation package within fourteen calendar days of punch list close. The package includes product data sheets for every installed product, the approved submittal record, the substitution log, manufacturer warranty documentation, and unit-level photographic documentation.

For LIHTC-financed affordable units, we provide unit-by-unit accessible feature documentation including photographs of grab bars, accessible accessory mounting heights, and curbless shower thresholds organized for housing finance agency monitoring review.

The Innergy commitment

Every article in this library, every process we describe, and every pre-construction deliverable we commit to reflects a single operating principle: the problems that cost GCs and developers the most money on interior finishes projects are preventable with process discipline applied before construction starts rather than reactive correction applied after problems are discovered. We built our company around that principle because we believe it is the right way to deliver interior finishes and because it produces the project outcomes that GCs and developers want from a finishes subcontractor.

If you are a GC or developer evaluating interior finishes subcontractors for a project in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, or Arizona, we would like the opportunity to demonstrate that our process produces the outcomes this library describes. Contact us at info@innergyinteriors.com or 915-226-7613. We respond within one business day.
